Josep Roig Boada
Josep Roig Boada (born 6 August 1957 in Terrassa, Spain) is a Spanish music composer, Record producer, producer and Audio engineer, sound engineer. He owns Temps Record company. Biography Studies and professional career During his early years, Roig studied Spanish guitar lessons with Emilio Gorrita, violin lessons with Josep Mª Alpiste, Alberto Licy and Josep Lluís Puig, harmony lessons with Pere Casas and Angel Soler and also attended a course of music language in cinema with José Nieto. Roig became a professional musician. He used to play the violin and the Spanish guitar in concerts of several singers, groups or orchestras. In 1979, when he was 22, Roig started his career as a composer, creating the soundtrack for ''Vida de perros'', a short film directed by Josep Lluís Viciana. Terrassa
Terrassa (, es, Tarrasa) is a city in the east central region of Catalonia, Spain, in the province of Barcelona, ''comarca'' of Vallès Occidental, of which it is the co-capital along with Sabadell. The name ''Terrassa'' derives from Latin ''Terracia'', either from earlier ''Terracium castellum'' (“earthen castle”), or meaning "terrace", "area of flat land". Phil Woods
Philip Wells Woods (November 2, 1931 – September 29, 2015) was an American jazz alto saxophonist, clarinetist, bandleader, and composer. Biography Woods was born in Springfield, Massachusetts. After inheriting a saxophone at age 12, he began taking lessons at a local music shop. His heroes on the alto saxophone included Benny Carter and Johnny Hodges. He studied music with Lennie Tristano at the Manhattan School of Music and at the Juilliard School. His friend, Joe Lopes, coached him on clarinet as there was no saxophone major at Juilliard at the time and received a bachelor’s degree in 1952. Although he did not copy Charlie Parker, Woods was known as the New Bird, a nickname also given to other alto saxophone players such as Sonny Stitt and Cannonball Adderley.
