Anton Heyboer (; 9 February 1924 – 9 April 2005) was a Dutch painter and printmaker. Biography According to the informational booklet "Anton Heyboer: Timeless Work", he was born on the small island of Pulau Weh in the north of Sumatra as the son of a Dutch mechanical engineer and a school teacher."Anton Heyboer: Timeless Work", Heyboer Art Gallery, Den Ilp His father worked in the coal harbour there for Shell Oil and his mother worked in the local school for Dutch children. Kunst zij ons doel, or KZOD, (English: ''Art be our aim'') is the name of an artists club in the Waag, Haarlem. History The Society was founded in 1821 as the continuation of the ' Haarlemse Teekenacademie', established in 1772 by Cornelis van Noorde, Tako Hajo Jelgersma, Hendrik de Meijer, Christiaan Henning, Leendert Overbeek and Paul van Liender in the fundatiehuis set up by Pieter Teyler van der Hulst, who was one of the directors. After Teyler died they moved to the Warmoesstraat around the corner. That society was started as a drawing academy that was connected to the Haarlem Guild of St. Luke. The drawing academy ran into financial difficulties when the guilds were disbanded in 1794. It died entirely when its most fervent leader, Cornelis van Noorde, died in 1795. NPO 2 (''NPO twee'', formerly Nederland 2 until 2014) is a Dutch television channel, sister channel of NPO 1 and NPO 3. It was established on 1 October 1964 at 20:00, initially with a 2.5 hours schedule until 22:30. NPO 2 tends to broadcast arts, culture, politics, news, current affairs, documentaries and religious programmes. In the mornings, NPO 2 simulcasts NPO 1's news bulletins with sign language. Den Ilp () is a Dutch village. It is located in the municipality of Landsmeer, North Holland, just north of Amsterdam. The village's population was 809 as of January 2007. In the Netherlands, the village is known for its abundant lighting displays in the weeks leading up to Christmas. Build-up and proximity The shape of Den Ilp is nearly vertical, and is mostly shaped around a single road of the same name, with two roads branching off westward halfway along Den Ilp. Den Ilp characterised as a narrow road flanked by ditches with individual bridges leading to separate houses. The village is connected to the main village of Landsmeer. Landsmeer is in turn connected to Amsterdam and Oostzaan. To the north lies the hamlet of Purmerland, on the edge of the municipality of Landsmeer and closer to Purmerend.
