Josaia Raisuqe
Josaia Wini Raisuqe (born 22 July 1994) is a Fijian rugby union footballer. He played wing for French Top 14 champions, Stade Français. His current club is French Rugby Pro D2 side, Nevers. Career Early career Wini was born in Lutu, Naitasiri and he took up rugby at a very young age. He dreamed of playing for the Fiji 7's team and it came to fruition when the then Fiji 7's coach Ben Ryan spotted him playing in the Martintar and Marist 7's and selected him for the Fiji 7's team for the 2015 Hong Kong Sevens. He played in 5 tournaments for Fiji scoring 14 tries but in July 2015, French Top 14 side, Stade Français signed him up for the 2015–16 Top 14 season. Eye-gouging (rugby Union)
Eye-gouging is a serious offence in rugby union where a player uses hands or fingers to inflict pain in an opponent's eyes. The game's laws refer to it as ''"contact with eyes or the eye area of an opponent"'' but such incidents are usually referred to as "eye-gouging" among players and in the media. Definition The laws of rugby union, as written by World Rugby, define foul play as: "''Anything a player does within the playing enclosure that is against the letter and spirit of the Laws of the Game. The 2018–19 Rugby Pro D2 was the second-level French rugby union club competition, behind the Top 14, for the 2018–19 season. It ran alongside the 2018–19 Top 14 competition; both competitions are operated by the Ligue Nationale de Rugby (LNR). The 2017–18 Rugby Pro D2 was the second-level French rugby union club competition, behind the Top 14, for the 2017–18 season. Rugby Pro D2, also known as Pro D2 is the second tier of rugby union club competition division in France. It is operated by Ligue Nationale de Rugby (LNR) which also runs the division directly above, the first division Top 14. Rugby Pro D2 was introduced in 2000. It is the world's best supported second tier rugby union league. Season structure There is relegation and promotion between both the Top 14 and Fédérale 1, the third-level competition. The top club at the end of the season is automatically promoted to the Top 14; through the 2016–17 season, the 2nd through 5th place teams play each other for the second promotion place. Waisea Nayacalevu Vuidravuwalu (born 26 June 1990) is a Fijian rugby union footballer. He plays wing for Fiji and Toulon in the Top 14 . Career Waisea, along with his brother, Avenisi Vasuinubu both played for Melbourne Rugby in the Victoria Rugby Championships. The brothers decided to join the Uprising team in the Uprising 7's tournament held in Fiji in 2012. They played so well that both brothers were selected to join the Fiji 7's team for the 2011–12 IRB Sevens World Series. Waisea was one of the stand-out performers that season scoring 25 tries that season equal with another rising star, Metuisela Talebula. A stomp (also referred to as a stamp) is a downwards strike with the heel of the foot from the stand-up position, and is usually directed at the head or body of a downed opponent.
