Jorge Yriarte
Jorge Luis Yriarte González (born 4 March 2000) is a Venezuelan footballer who plays as a midfielder for Spanish club SD Eibar. Club career Yriarte was born in Barquisimeto, and is a youth product of Deportivo Lara. He made his Primera División debut on 21 May 2017, starting in a 1–1 away draw against Aragua. On 21 June 2019, Yriarte moved abroad and joined Spanish club SD Eibar on loan, being assigned to the farm team in Tercera División. On 28 August 2020, he signed a permanent contract with the club. On 9 August 2022, Yriarte was loaned to SD Amorebieta for one year, and was a regular starter during the season, scoring once as the club returned to Segunda División. Upon returning to the ''Armeros'', he renewed his contract until 2026 on 24 July 2023. Barquisimeto (; guc, Watkisimeeta) is a city in Venezuela. It is the capital of the state of Lara and head of Iribarren Municipality. It is an important urban, industrial, commercial and transportation center of the country, recognized as the fourth-largest city by population and area in Venezuela after Caracas, Maracaibo and Valencia. History Barquisimeto was founded in 1552 by Juan de Villegas, as a headquarters and to have better control of the territory believed to be rich in gold. Its original name was Nueva Segovia de Barquisimeto and then it was shortened to just Barquisimeto. This city had four settlements due to ignorance of the physical environment of the region.
