Cuauhtémoc Blanco
Cuauhtémoc Blanco Bravo (; born 17 January 1973) is a Mexican politician and former professional footballer who is the current Governor of Morelos under the coalition '' Juntos Haremos Historia''. He formerly served as the municipal president of Cuernavaca, Morelos. As a footballer, Blanco was known for his attacking ability and played most of his career as a deep-lying forward and his last years as an attacking midfielder. Blanco is considered to be one of the greatest Mexican footballers of all time, as well as one of the best penalty takers of all time. Early life Blanco was born in Mexico City, in the district of Tlatilco, but grew up in Tepito. Armando León Bejarano
Armando León Bejarano Valadez (April 11, 1916 – July 6, 2016) was a Mexican orthopedic surgeon, physician, politician, and member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). He served as the Governor of Morelos from 1976 until 1982. Bejarano was born in Cuautla, Morelos, on April 11, 1916, to Jesús Bejarano Nuñez and Carmen Marcia Valadez Lizarraga. He was the youngest of his brothers. Bajarano studied at the medical school of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) from 1933 to 1938 and received his degree on July 18, 1939, becoming a surgeon and midwife. He specialized in orthopedics and trauma. Bejaranos was the medical director of the Olympic Village during the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City. Bejarano was appointed the PRI candidate for Governor of Morelos to succeed outgoing Governor Felipe Rivera Crespo. Genovevo De La O
Genovevo de la O (January 3, 1876 – June 12, 1952) was an important figure in the Mexican Revolution in Morelos. He was born in Santa María Ahuacatitlán, Morelos,Genovevo de la O accessed Dec 28, 2018 to sharecropper parents. He was dedicated to the plight of Mexico's peasants and came to be an outstanding Liberation Army of the South guerrilla general. After Emiliano Zapata's death, he and the other guerrillas threw their lot in with Álvaro Obregón and went on to become a minor but long-lasting figure in national politics.
