Jorge Luis Córdova
Jorge Luis Córdova Díaz (April 20, 1907 – September 16, 1994) served as Puerto Rico's 11th Resident Commissioner from 1969 to 1973. His father, Félix Córdova Dávila, had served as Puerto Rico's fourth Resident Commissioner from 1917 to 1932. Biography Born in Manatí, Puerto Rico, Córdova was a 1924 graduate of St. John's College High School in Washington, DC. He attained his B.A. in 1928 from Catholic University of America, and his LL.B. in 1931 from Harvard Law School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He was a lawyer in private practice. He served as a Superior Court judge in San Juan from 1940 to 1945. He served as an associate justice of the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico from 1945 to 1946. Melinda Kathleen Romero Donnelly (born October 8, 1971) is a Puerto Rican people, Puerto Rican politician, and former Senate, senator and Legislator, Representative for the New Progressive Party of Puerto Rico, New Progressive Party (PNP). Córdova Congressional Internship Program
The Córdova & Fernós Congressional Internship Program is a publicly funded internship program created in 1993 through legislation authored by then Puerto Rico senator and former Secretary of State Kenneth McClintock and signed into law by Gov. Pedro Rosselló. Administered by a joint committee of the Puerto Rico Legislative Assembly and run by The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars (TWC), the program provides the opportunity every year for 40 college students to experience a semester-long internship in an assigned congressional office of either chamber, in the Puerto Rico Federal Affairs Administration, or at Telemundo or Univision. Pedro Rosselló
Pedro Juan Rosselló González (; born April 5, 1944) is a Puerto Rican physician and politician who served as the governor of Puerto Rico from 1993 to 2001. He was President of the New Progressive Party from 1991 to 1999 and 2003 to 2008, and served as Senator for the District of Arecibo from 2005 to 2008. His son, Ricardo, was also Governor of Puerto Rico from 2017 to 2019. In 1988 Rosselló ran for Resident Commissioner of Puerto Rico, but lost to Jaime Fuster in the 1988 elections. From 1990 to 1991 he successfully challenged former Governor and then-NPP President Carlos Romero Barceló for the NPP's presidency. He was thereafter elected Governor of Puerto Rico in 1992 and in 1996 was re-elected by the widest electoral margin up to that date. Kenneth Davison McClintock-Hernández (born January 19, 1957) is a politician who served as the twenty-second Secretary of State of Puerto Rico, one of the four longest serving in that post. McClintock served as co-chair of Hillary Clinton’s National Hispanic Leadership Council in 2008, he co-chaired her successful Puerto Rico primary campaign that year and served as the Thirteenth President of the Senate of Puerto Rico until December 31, 2008.
