Jorge Filipe Vidigal
Jorge Filipe Vidigal (born 29 January 1978) is an Angolan retired footballer who played as a right back. Club career Born in Elvas, Portugal, Vidigal played most of his career in the country's lower leagues, representing hometown club O Elvas CAD (two spells), G.D. Estoril Praia, S.C. Olhanense and C.F. União. He also spent two years at Sporting CP, but appeared almost exclusively for its reserves. Vidigal's only full Primeira Liga experience came with S.C. Beira-Mar, who signed the player from Olhanense – where he also appeared as a defensive midfielder – on a two-year contract. He only appeared in ten matches in his debut season, and the Aveiro team was relegated. In the summer of 2008, after a brief stint in Madeira with União, Vidigal joined C.R. Caála, returning to the land of his ancestors. Elvas () is a Portuguese municipality, former episcopal city and frontier fortress of easternmost central Portugal, located in the district of Portalegre in Alentejo. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. The Eerste Divisie (, en, First Division) is the second-highest tier of football in the Netherlands. It is linked with the top-level Eredivisie and with the third-level Tweede Divisie via promotion/relegation systems. António 'Toni' Leonel Vidigal (born 1 March 1975) is a Portuguese retired professional footballer who played as a central midfielder. Football career Born in Elvas, Portalegre District, Vidigal made his senior debuts at only 16, with O Elvas C.A.D. in the third division. In 1994 he signed with G.D.
