Jorge Bermúdez
Jorge Hernán Bermúdez Morales (born 18 June 1971) is a retired Colombian football defender. He played 56 times for the Colombia national team between 1995 and 2001. Playing career Bermúdez played at the club level for several teams in Colombia including Deportes Quindío, América de Cali, Deportivo Quevedo, Deportivo Pereira and Independiente Santa Fe. He started his career with Deportes Quindio which was also the team he finished his career with 17 years later. Bermúdez also played for a number of clubs outside Colombia including Benfica (Portugal), Boca Juniors (Argentina), Olympiakos Pireus (Greece), Newell's Old Boys (Argentina) and Barcelona Guayaquil (Ecuador). During his time with Boca Juniors he won a number of major titles including the Copa Libertadores and Copa Intercontinental in 2000 and three league titles ( Ap 1998, Cl 1999 & Ap 2000). Calarcá
Calarcá is a municipality in the eastern part of the department of Quindío Department, Quindío, Colombia. It is located 4 km east of the departmental capital Armenia, Colombia, Armenia. Its nickname is ''La Villa del Cacique'' in homage of its writers. The city was founded in 1886 by Segundo Henao during the time of colonization by people from Antioquia Department. It is the second city in Quindío with major quantity of inhabitants. In 2016 it had an estimated population of 78,779, of which 59,986 live in the main urban zone. The Copa América ( en, America Cup) or CONMEBOL Copa América, known until 1975 as the South American Football Championship (''Campeonato Sudamericano de Fútbol'' in Spanish and ''Campeonato Sul-Americano de Futebol'' in Portuguese), is the top men's football tournament contested among national teams from South America. The 1998 FIFA World Cup was the 16th FIFA World Cup, the football world championship for men's national teams. The finals tournament was held in France from 10 June to 12 July 1998. The country was chosen as the host nation by FIFA for the second time in the history of the tournament, defeating Morocco in the bidding process.
