Jorge (Romanian Singer)
George Papagheorghe (born 22 June 1982, in Constanța) a.k.a. Jorge and at times GEØRGE is a Romanian singer, dancer and TV host, specially for the talent competition ''România dansează'' on Antena 1 starting 2013. Career Beginnings George Papagheorghe was born in Constanța on the Black Sea in an artistic family as his father was a well known celebrity performing in social gatherings, bars and at weddings in Macedonia. He performed at school while 11 in classical opera pieces accompanied by piano. After graduation, he specialized in management at Academia de Studii Economice in Bucarest. ''Your Face Sounds Familiar'' (Spanish: ''Tu cara me suena'') is a Spanish interactive reality television franchise series where celebrity contestants impersonate singers. The format, similar to Dutch television series ''Soundmixshow'', was first used in Spain under the title '' Tu cara me suena'' in 2011. Format The show challenges celebrities to perform as different iconic music artists every week, which are chosen by the show's "Randomiser". They are then judged by the panel of celebrity judges. George Nicolescu
George Nicolescu (; born 12 March 1950) is a blind Romanian musician. Born in Ploieşti, Nicolescu has four sisters. He attended the Bucharest School for Amblyopia Patients (1957-1959), middle school and high school (1960-1968) and the School for the Blind in Cluj (1968–1972). Self-taught, he made his singing debut in Cluj and in 1970 won first prize at the ''Tinereţe pe portativ'' ("Youth on the Scale") festival. A few years later, the composer George Grigoriu began to influence him, and the two began collaborating. In 1973, his first hit, "Eternitate" ("Eternity"), was released, and the following year came four hits released on a 45, under Grigoriu's name. In 1972 he gained admission to the University of Bucharest's Faculty of Romance Languages, French-Romanian section. He graduated in 1976 and the following April began teaching French at the School for the Blind in Buzău, where he remained until 1985.
