Jordon Cooke
Jordon Cooke (born June 6, 1993) is a retired Canadian ice hockey goaltender. Cooke was selected by the Kelowna Rockets in the fourth round (79th overall) of the 2008 WHL Bantam Draft. Cooke's outstanding season with the Kelowna Rockets during the 2013–14 WHL season was recognized when he was selected the WHL's Western Conference Goaltender of the Year and was named to the WHL's Western Conference First All-Star Team. In addition, on May 26, 2014, Cooke was also named CHL Goalie of the Year. On July 3, 2014, it was announced that Cooke would be attending the LA Kings Development Camp held at the Toyota Sports Center beginning on July 7, 2014. On December 20, 2014, Cooke was added to the 2016 Spengler Cup Team Canada roster, making him the first active player from Canada West Universities Athletic Association to be named to Canada’s Spengler Cup roster in over 30 years. Jordan Cook
Jordan Alan Cook (born 20 March 1990) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder or a striker. He began his career with Sunderland and played three times in the Premier League during the 2010–11 season, also spending time on loan with Darlington, Walsall and Carlisle United. In 2012 he signed for Charlton Athletic and has since gone on to feature in the EFL for Yeovil Town, Luton Town, Grimsby Town and Hartlepool United, as well as stint with non-league club Gateshead. Career Sunderland Cook was born in Hetton-le-Hole, Tyne and Wear and attended Hetton School. He began his career with Hetton Juniors, before joining Sunderland aged seven. U Sports Men's Ice Hockey
U Sports men's ice hockey is the highest level of play of men's ice hockey at the university level under the auspices of U Sports, Canada's governing body for university sports. As these players compete at the university level, they are obligated to follow the rule of standard eligibility of five years. University hockey teams in Canada compete in leagues as part of U Sports, the national governing body for Canadian university athletics. (In Canadian English, the term "college" is reserved for schools that would be called "junior", "community", or "technical" colleges in the U.S. Such schools' athletics programs are overseen by the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association.) The Canadian Hockey League (CHL; french: Ligue canadienne de hockey ‒ LCH) is an umbrella organization that represents the three Canada-based major junior ice hockey leagues. The Del Wilson Trophy is presented annually to the Western Hockey League's goaltender judged to be the best at his position. The award is named after Del Wilson for his many years of service to both the Regina Pats and the League. Wilson was an owner, Governor, and General Manager of the Pats and served 6 years as Chairman of the Board of the WHL.
