Jordie Van Der Laan
Jordie van der Laan (born 28 October 1993) is a Dutch football player who plays for JVC Cuijk. Club career Van der Laan played youth football for JVC Cuijk. Between 2002 and 2005, he part of the PSV youth academy. He then returned to JVC Cuijk, where he played with the first team in the Topklasse Sunday from 2012 to 2015. In 2015, he left for Juliana '31, and via FC Lienden he returned to JVC Cuijk in 2017. In the summer of 2018, Van der Laan moved to DOVO, but a clause was included in his contract that he could leave if an offer from a professional club would come during this transfer period. This offer came from Telstar, and thus he left without playing for DOVO. He signed a one-year deal. Van der Laan made his Eerste Divisie debut for Telstar on 17 August 2018 in a game against RKC Waalwijk, as a starter. Cuijk
Cuijk (; dialect: ''Kuuk'') is a town in the northeastern part of the province of North Brabant, Netherlands. It is the successor of a Roman settlement on the west bank of the Meuse, 13 km (8 mi) south of Nijmegen. Cuijk, which had a population of 18,170 as of 2020, was the centre of an eponymous municipality, which ceased to exist on 1 January 2022, when it was replaced by the larger Land van Cuijk municipality. Origin of the name The name Cuijk seems to be derived from the Celtic ''Keukja'', meaning curve or bend. This refers to a bend in the Meuse near Cuijk. The Derde Divisie (; en, Third Division), formerly known as Topklasse (; en, Top Class), is the fourth tier of football in the Netherlands, which had its inaugural season as a third tier in 2010–11 and as a fourth tier in 2016–17. The virus reached the Netherlands on 27 February 2020, when its first COVID-19 case was confirmed in Tilburg.
