Jordi Bargalló
Jordi Bargalló i Poch (born 5 December 1979, in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia) is a Spanish Roller hockey (quad), rink hockey player. He plays as a midfielder. Club career Bargalló first played at Noia Freixenet, from 1997/98 to 2001/02, where he won the Copa del Rey de Hockey Patines, Copa del Rey, in 1998, and the Cers Cup, in 1998. He moved then to HC Liceo La Coruña, where he stayed from 2002/03 to 2006/07. He was European Champion in 2002/03, and won the Copa del Rey in 2004. After a season at Igualada HC (2007/08), he returned to Liceo La Coruña in 2008/09. In 2016, he moved to Portehuese club UD Oliveirense. He won a Continental Cup (2017) and a Portuguese Cup (2018/19) with UD Oliveirense. In 2021, He returned to his former club Noia Freixenet. 2011 FIRS Men's Roller Hockey World Cup
The 2011 FIRS Men's Roller Hockey World Cup was the 40th edition of the FIRS Roller Hockey World Cup. It was held in September 2011 in San Juan, Argentina. This was the fifth FIRS Roller Hockey World Cup organized in the province of San Juan. It was initially announced that the tournament was to be held in Maputo, Mozambique and the city of San Juan, Argentina was designated the alternative host city. In July, 2010 the FIRS declared that San Juan, Argentina would take the place of Maputo as host city for the tournament. Rink Hockey World Championship
The World Skate Roller Hockey World Cup is the international championship for roller hockey organized by World Skate. The first event was held in 1936, in the city of Stuttgart. Since 1989, the World Championship tournament is held every two years on the odd years. Until 2017, it was organized by the Fédération Internationale de Roller Sports. As of 2019, following the merge between the FIRS and the International Skateboarding Federation, the World Cup is now an event of the larger World Roller Games. Through the 2019 World Cup, only five countries have taken the Roller Hockey World Cup: England winning two times, Portugal winning sixteen times, Spain winning seventeen times, Italy winning four times and Argentina winning five times. Sant Sadurní d'Anoia is a municipality in the ''comarca'' of the Alt Penedès in Catalonia, Spain; and the centre of production of a sparkling wine known as '' cava''. Igualada HC
Igualada Hoquei Club is a Catalan roller hockey club based in Igualada, Catalonia, Spain. The Pavelló Poliesportiu Les Comes, with a capacity of 3,000 seats, currently serves as its pavilion. History The club was founded in 1950. It played in the top nacional category from 1955 to 1964, 1969 to 1973, and from 1984 to nowadays. The team enjoyed its golden era through the 1990s, winning six European Leagues, five European Supercups, five Spanish championships and four national cups between 1989 and 1999. CN Igualada's women's rink hockey team, which would become Igualada HC's women's section in 2008, also won seven Spanish championships between 1993 and 2000.
