Jordan Wright (footballer)
Jordan Ian Wright (born 27 February 1999) is an English professional footballer who plays for club Grimsby Town as a goalkeeper. Career Nottingham Forest Born in Stoke-on-Trent, Wright began his career with Nottingham Forest, spending time on loan during the 2016–17 and 2017–18 seasons with Alfreton Town and Kettering Town. In November 2018 he signed for Grantham Town on loan, and in September 2019 he moved on loan to Nuneaton Borough. He returned on loan to Alfreton Town in December 2019. The loan was extended in February 2020. He also moved on loan to Alloa Athletic in January 2021, and to Hereford in October 2021. Lincoln City He signed permanently for Lincoln City in January 2022, making his debut for the club on 5 March 2022, appearing as a late substitute following an injury to first-choice goalkeeper Josh Griffiths. The 2021–22 National League season, known as the Vanarama National League for sponsorship reasons, was the seventh season as English football's National League, the nineteenth season consisting of three divisions, and the forty-third season overall. Due to the curtailment of the preceding season for North and South and lower levels of competition in the English football pyramid, promotion and relegation between levels 5 and 6, and between level 6 and lower levels were suspended. The 2020–21 Scottish Championship was the eighth season of the Scottish Championship, the second tier of Scottish football. Ten teams contested the league: Alloa Athletic, Arbroath, Ayr United, Dundee, Dunfermline Athletic, Greenock Morton, Heart of Midlothian, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Queen of the South and Raith Rovers. The 2019–20 National League season, known as the Vanarama National League for sponsorship reasons, was the fifth season under English football's new title of National League, the sixteenth season consisting of three divisions, and the forty-first season overall. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the National League season was initially suspended on 16 March 2020 until at least 3 April. On 31 March, this suspension was extended indefinitely until further notice. On 22 April, clubs voted to end the season, with promotions and relegations still "under careful consideration".
