Jordan Lilley
Jordan Lilley (born 4 September 1996) is an English professional rugby league footballer who plays as a or for the Bradford Bulls in the Betfred Championship. He spent on loan from the Leeds Rhinos at Bradford during the 2019 season. Background Lilley was born in Bramley, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. Career Early career Lilley started at the amateur club Stanningley ARLFC. Leeds Rhinos Lilley made his début for Leeds in their 2015 Super League match against Wakefield Trinity at Belle Vue. He went on to make a handful of appearances in 2015 and just missed out on a spot in the Grand Final team at the end of the season. In 2016 Lilley became a regular in the Leeds team after Danny McGuire was injured at the start of the season. Hunslet Lilley was dual registered in 2015 with Hunslet Hawks in the Championship, and played four games for the club, kicking ten goals. Bramley is a district in west Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It is part of the City of Leeds Ward of Bramley and Stanningley with a population of 21,334 at the 2011 Census. The area is an old industrial area with much 19th century architecture and 20th century council housing in the east and private suburban housing in the west. Etymology The name of Bramley is first attested in the 1086 Domesday Book as ''Brameleia'' and ''Bramelei''. Following liquidation, the Bulls finished last place in the 2017 RFL Championship season and were relegated alongside Oldham. World Club Challenge
The World Club Challenge is an annual rugby league competition between the winners of the Australasian National Rugby League (NRL) and the European Super League, for the de facto club world championship of the sport. The first such match was played in 1976 but did not become a regular fixture until the late 1980s. It was also punctuated in the 1990s by the Super League war but has been held every year since 2000. The Sydney Roosters are the current champions, defeating St Helens 20–12 in 2020. Between 2015 and 2017, the World Club Challenge became the championship match for the 3 game, World Club Series. Two further exhibition matches were played prior to the main game.
