Jordan Kristopher Leggett (born January 31, 1995) is a former American football tight end. He played college football at Clemson Tigers football, Clemson. He was drafted by the New York Jets in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Early years Leggett attended Navarre High School in Navarre, Florida, where he played high school football. He was rated by Rivals.com as a three-star recruit and committed to Clemson University to play college football. College career As a true freshman at Clemson in 2013, Leggett played in 10 games, recording 10 receptions for 176 yards and two touchdowns. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. On the other hand, unlike offensive linemen, they are eligible receivers adept enough to warrant a defense's attention when running pass patterns. Because of the hybrid nature of the position, the tight end's role in any given offense depends on the tactical preferences and philosophy of the head coach as well as overall team dynamic.
