Jordan Langs
Jordan Langs (born ) is an American college football coach and former player. He was the special teams coordinator and running backs coach for Iowa State University in 2023. He served as the head football coach at Indiana Wesleyan University from the program inception in 2016 to December 2022. In 2018, the Indiana Wesleyan Wildcats began their inaugural season of play. Early life and playing career Langs is a native of Climax, Michigan, where he graduated from Climax-Scotts High School in 2008. He was a three-year varsity starter and a two-time all-state selection. After high school, Langs continued his football career at Wheaton College, in Wheaton, Illinois, as a three-year starter for the Wheaton Thunder football team. His playing career spanned the years 2008 to 2011. Langs graduated in 2012 with a degree in history and social science. Climax, Michigan
Climax is a village in Kalamazoo County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 767 at the 2010 census. The village is located within Climax Township on the northern boundary with Charleston Township, and is roughly west of Battle Creek and east of Kalamazoo. Climax shares a school district with the neighboring town of Scotts. History In 1825, John Mullet was among the first white settlers in Climax, along with Calvin White (1831), and the Farnsworth brothers (1832) More Euro-American settlement of this area began in 1838. It was incorporated as a village in 1899. Climax got its name in 1834, when the family of Judge Caleb Eldred found a prairie after months of searching for good farmland. His son, Daniel B. Eldred, climbed a tree to look around and said, "This caps the climax of everything we saw." 2018 Indiana Wesleyan Wildcats Football Team
The Indiana Wesleyan Wildcats are the athletic teams that represent Indiana Wesleyan University, located in Marion, Indiana, in intercollegiate sports as a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), primarily competing in the Crossroads League (formerly known as the Mid-Central College Conference (MCCC) until after the 2011–12 school year) since the 1973–74 academic year; while its football team competes in the Mideast League of the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) and its women's swimming team competes in the Mid-South Conference (MSC).
