''Joot'' () is a 2003 Indian Tamil-language film directed by Azhagam Perumal, starring Srikanth and Meera Jasmine with Vivek, FEFSI Vijayan and Murali in supporting roles loosely based on Hindi super hit '' Ghatak''. The music is by Vidyasagar. The film released on 19 December 2003. Plot From a small rural village, Eashwaran goes to the bigger city of Chennai with his father, seeking medicine to treat an illness. While in town, they live at the home of Eashwaran's brother, who is caught up in a dangerous web of corruption involving a thug Aditya. As Aditya continues to head dirty deals with local officials, Eashwaran is in over his head and may need his brother's help. Srikanth (Tamil Actor, Born 1979)
Srikanth (born 28 February 1979) is an Indian actor known for his works predominantly in Tamil and Telugu films. He is credited as Sriram in Telugu films. He debuted in K. Balachander's tele serial ''Jannal - Marabu Kavithaigal'' (1999). His film debut was in the romantic film ''Roja Kootam'' (2002) and went on to star in more such films including ''April Maadhathil'' (2002), ''Parthiban Kanavu'' (2003) and ''Okariki Okaru'' (2003). He subsequently went on to portray action roles in '' Drohi'' (2010). In 2012, he starred in ''Nanban'', the Tamil remake of ''3 Idiots'', directed by S. Shankar. FEFSI Vijayan
FEFSI Vijayan simply known as ''Vijayan'' is an Indian action choreographer, stunt coordinator, actor who works in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi language films. He has the record of being the youngest stunt master in the Indian film industry at the age of 22. He became a stunt man at the age of 17 due to family situation. He is the son of stunt choreographer Swaminathan who is known for composing Lion fight done by MGR in Adimai Penn. Swaminathan was a prominent fight master for MGR films & for that Vijayan had very close relationship with MGR. He was the president of the FEFSI and thus, earning him the nickname FEFSI Vijayan. Jasmine Mary Joseph, known professionally as Meera Jasmine, is an Indian actress who appears primarily in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada language films.
