Jono And Ben
''Jono and Ben'', previously titled ''Jono and Ben at Ten'', was a satirical news and entertainment show hosted by Jono Pryor and Ben Boyce in New Zealand. The show aired on Three on Thursday nights at 7:30pm, and was filmed the night before in their studios in Epsom. The show combined pre-filmed comedy sketches, pranks and parodies, linked together by segments filmed in front of a small studio audience. A third presenter, Guy Williams sat in a chair to the right of the stage and provided comic foil for the hosts. In 2015 the show moved from 10pm to 7:30pm and was extended to run for an hour; due to the timeslot change, the show was renamed ''Jono and Ben''. In 2017 the show moved to Thursday nights and started broadcasting live (with prerecorded segments and sketches). The show was cancelled during its seventh season, marking the end to its seven year run. Jesse Mulligan
Jesse Robert Turi Mulligan is a New Zealand television and radio broadcaster. He currently works as a co-host for '' The Project'' on Three, an afternoon presenter on RNZ National, and a writer for The New Zealand Herald's Viva Magazine. Career Mulligan began his television career as a writer and then regular panellist on Three's comedy gameshow ''7 Days''. In 2013, he started as one of the three hosts on TVNZ 1's new current affairs show, ''Seven Sharp''. He left the show on 17 April 2014, after his co-hosts Ali Mau and Greg Boyed left at the end of 2013 and were replaced by Toni Street and Mike Hosking, as part of refreshing the show. In 2014 and 2015, he hosted comedy show '' Best Bits''. In 2017, he started hosting Three's new current affairs show, '' The Project''. The Jono Project
''The Jono Project'' was a satirical news and entertainment show hosted by Jono Pryor. The show aired in New Zealand on Monday nights, on C4 in 2010, then TV3 in 2011. The show combined pre-filmed sketches, pranks and parodies linked together by segments filmed in front of a small studio audience; and was preceded by ''Jono's New Show''. The show also included Guy Williams and Shannon Ryan. When season 2 ended, the show was not renewed. NZ On Air (NZOA; mi, Irirangi te Motu), formally the Broadcasting Commission, is an autonomous Crown entity and commission of the New Zealand Government responsible for funding support for broadcasting and creative works. The commission operates largely separate from government policy but must follow directions from the Minister of Broadcasting. NZOA is responsible for the funding of public broadcasting content across television, radio and other media platforms. It is also a major investor in New Zealand independent producers. NZ On Air is the operating name of the Broadcasting Commission formed in the Broadcasting Act 1989 alongside the Broadcasting Standards Authority, meant to encourage individuals to pay the historical Broadcasting Fee that funded public broadcasters. Three ( mi, Toru), stylized as +HR=E, is a New Zealand nationwide television channel. Launched on 26 November 1989 as TV3, it was New Zealand's first private broadcasting, privately owned television channel. The channel currently broadcasts nationally (with regional advertising targeting four markets) in digital free-to-air form via the state-owned Kordia on terrestrial and satellite. Vodafone also carries the channel for their cable subscribers in Wellington and Christchurch. It previously broadcast nationally on analogue television until that was switched off on 1 December 2013.
