Joni Cotten
Joni Cotten (born May 21, 1953, in North Chicago, Illinois) is an American curler from Mount Prospect, Illinois. Curling career In 1997 Cotten won the United States Women's Championship while playing second for Patti Lank. As national champions they represented the United States at the 1997 World Women's Championship, finishing 7th. Cotten again won the US Championship in 2000, this time playing second for Amy Wright. At the 2000 World Championship the US women tied for 6th place with Germany and Denmark. At the 2001 World Championship Cotten played as alternate with skip Kari Erickson, Debbie McCormick, Stacey Liapis, and Ann Swisshelm. The team finished 6th. Cotten continued to play alternate for team Erickson as they won the 2001 United States Olympic Trials and competed as Team USA at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. Amy Becher
Amy Becher (born May 24, 1978) is an American curler from Omaha, Nebraska. In 2000, she won the United States Women's Curling Championship as vice-skip on Amy Wright's team. They went on to represent the United States at the 2000 World Women's Curling Championship. Curling career Becher competed at her first junior national championship in 1994, finishing last. She returned to junior nationals in 1995 and finished fourth. Becher again improved her results at the 1996 Junior Nationals, winning the championship as skip of her own team. As Team USA at the 1996 World Junior Curling Championships they finished last with a 0–9 record. In 1997 Becher joined Risa O'Connell's team at third, defended her junior national title and improved her World Juniors result by finished in fourth place at the 1997 World Juniors. Allison Pottinger
Allison Pottinger ( Darragh, born July 5, 1973) is an American curler from Eden Prairie, Minnesota. She is best known as having played for Debbie McCormick in multiple Olympics and World Championships. McCormick left the team in 2010. She competed in the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, in Vancouver, Canada. She was named USA female curling athlete of the year in 2008. Career Pottinger curls out of the St. Paul Curling Club in St. Paul, Minnesota. She learned how to curl in Otterburn Park, Quebec. In 1994, Pottinger was an alternate for Erika Brown's silver medal-winning team at the 1994 World Junior Curling Championships. Pottinger picked up another silver medal at the 1996 World Curling Championships as the lead for Lisa Schoeneberg. Ann Swisshelm
Ann Swisshelm (born March 9, 1968) is a curler from Chicago. Swisshelm represented the United States in the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics and the 2014 Sochi Olympics. She has also been known as Ann Swisshelm Silver. Career Swisshelm began curling at age ten at the Exmoor Country Club in Highland Park, a suburb of Chicago. She made her United States National Championship debut in 1995, where her team placed fifth. Since then she has competed in the National Championships 18 more times. Her team won the National title five times, in 1998, 2001, 2003, 2010, and 2013. At her first World Championships in 1998, Swisshelm and team finished in a three-way tie for eighth.
