Jonathon Cooper (born January 8, 1998) is an American football outside linebacker for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Ohio State. Professional career Cooper was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the seventh round, 239th overall, of the 2021 NFL Draft The 2021 NFL Draft was the 86th National Football League Draft, the annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible players for the 2021 NFL season. The draft was held in Cleveland from April 29 to May 1, 2021 .... On June 15, 2021, Cooper signed his four-year rookie contract with Denver. Two days before the NFL draft, Cooper received bad news from doctors that there was an irregularity in his electrocardiogram test. The Denver Broncos are a professional American football franchise based in Denver. The Broncos compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league's American Football Conference (AFC) West division. The team is headquartered in Dove Valley, Colorado. The 2021 NFL Draft was the 86th National Football League Draft, the annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible players for the 2021 NFL season. The draft was held in Cleveland from April 29 to May 1, 2021.
