Peter Thomas Nardone BA FRCO (born 1965) is primarily a freelance conductor, singer and composer. He has sung with the Monteverdi Choir, The King’s Consort and the Tallis Scholars. He has been Director of Music at Chelmsford Cathedral and was subsequently Organist and Director of Music at Worcester Cathedral. Early life and education Nardone was born in Elderslie, Scotland. He was educated at John Neilson High School, Paisley, before going on to study organ and piano at Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (1983-1986). As a boy he sang in the choir of Paisley Abbey, where he continued as a countertenor until 1986. In 1986 was awarded a grant by the Countess of Munster Musical Trust to study singing at Royal Academy of Music, London. He gained the FRCO diploma in 1999. Choir Of St John's College, Cambridge
The Choir of St John's College, Cambridge is considered to be one of the finest collegiate choirs in the world. It is part of the English cathedral tradition, having been founded to sing the daily liturgy in the College Chapel, though it is set apart from other English choirs of this tradition by the frequent inclusion of Continental works in its repertoire and its emphasis on polyphonic interpretations. Alongside the choir of King's College, Cambridge, it is one of the two most famous collegiate choirs in Cambridge, having had over 90 recordings published.
