Jonathan Rodríguez (footballer, Born 1990)
Jonathan Emanuel Rodríguez (born 7 June 1990) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. Career Rodríguez spent the first part of his career in Argentina's lower leagues, where he represented San Martín de Burzaco, Defensores de Belgrano, CAI, Deportivo Madryn and Agropecuario. He moved abroad for the first time in the summer of 2017, aged 27, joining Botoșani in Romania. Rodríguez was called to the Liga I Team of the Year in the 2019–20 season and was made captain at the club. He played 126 games and scored ten goals in all competitions over the course of four campaigns. He then signed for fellow league team CFR Cluj as a free agent in June 2021. Liga I (; ''First League''), also spelled as Liga 1 and officially known as SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Romania and the highest level of the Romanian football league system. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation from and to Liga II. The teams play 30 matches each in the regular season, before entering the championship play-offs or the relegation play-outs according to their position in the regular table. Liga I was established in 1909 and commenced play for the 1909–10 Divizia A, 1909–10 campaign, being currently 25th in UEFA's UEFA coefficient#League coefficient, league coefficient ranking list. The 2022 Supercupa României was the 24th edition of the Supercupa României, an annual football super cup contested by the winners of the previous season's Liga I and Cupa României competitions. It was the first Supercupa României edition to use the VAR system. The Supercupa României () is a Romanian football (soccer), football championship contested by the winners of the Liga I and the Cupa României. It is usually played at the Arena Națională in Bucharest. The competition started off in 1994 Supercupa României, 1994, with the first edition being won by FCSB, Steaua București. In 2010 Supercupa României, 2010, for the first time in its history, the Supercup was held even though CFR Cluj had been victorious in both the league and the cup in the previous season. The 2016–17 Argentine Torneo Federal A, was the 4th season of the third tier of the Argentine football league system.
