Jonathan Pérez (musician)
Jonathan Alejandro Pérez (born May 1, 1979, Viña del Mar, Chile) is a Chilean drummer who is currently based in Kristiansand, Norway. He is known for his work with the Norwegian gothic metal and symphonic metal bands Trail of Tears (band), Trail of Tears and Sirenia (band), Sirenia. He is currently the drummer of Green Carnation since 2016. Career Pérez's career in music began at the age 17 of in 1996 with Trail of Tears (band), Trail of Tears, a local band. With them he recorded five studio albums and participated in full tours and numerous shows in Europe as well as the first full Mexican tour in June 2003. In 2004, along with Trail of Tears, he was part of the double album tribute to the Australian group Dead Can Dance, entitled ''The Lotus Eaters (Tribute To Dead Can Dance)''. ''Ronny Thorsen'' (born 3 January 1978 in Kristiansand, Vest-Agder, Norway) is a Norwegian vocalist most notable for being the harsh vocalist, lyricist, and formerly the only constant member of the band Trail of Tears, until he left the band in 2013. He has also been a session vocalist for the bands Blood Red Throne and Scariot and was a guest for the band Tristania. ''Perils of the Deep Blue'' is the sixth studio album by the Norwegian gothic metal band Sirenia. It was released on June 28, 2013, in Europe, July 1 in the United Kingdom and July 9 in North America by Nuclear Blast. Produced by Morten Veland, it was mastered and mixed by Endre Kirkesola at Dub Studios in Norway. It was the band's last album released by Nuclear Blast, before the expiration of their long-term contract. Cover art The album cover art represents a fortuitous event. It was created by the British Gothic artist Anne Stokes. ''The 13th Floor'' is the fourth studio album by the Norwegian gothic metal band ''Sirenia'' and their first with the Spanish vocalist Ailyn. It was released on 23 January 2009, through Nuclear Blast. The album features guest appearances by Jan Kenneth Barkved (who had also made some guest appearances on their album '' At Sixes and Sevens''), and the French violin player, Stephanie Valentin, who adds to the sound along with the choir that has been a part of their sound since the beginning.
