Jonathan Levinson is a fictional character created by Joss Whedon for the television series '' Buffy the Vampire Slayer''. The character is portrayed by Danny Strong. Character development Strong described the early development of his character in an interview with the U.K. '' Buffy the Vampire Slayer magazine''. He described his character as the "Kenny of ''Buffy''. Strong had initially auditioned for the role of Xander, but lost out to Nicholas Brendon. The Buffyverse or Slayerverse is a Multimedia franchise, media franchise created by Joss Whedon. The term also refers to the shared fictional universe in which the TV series ''Buffy the Vampire Slayer'' and ''Angel (1999 TV series), Angel'' are set. This term, originally coined by fans of the TV series, has since been used in the titles of published works, and adopted by Joss Whedon, the creator of the fictional universe. "What's My Line" is a two-episode story in season two of the television series ''Buffy the Vampire Slayer''. In part one, Buffy endures Career Week at school while Spike hires assassins to kill her; a fierce fighter who identifies herself as " Kendra the Vampire Slayer" shows up in Sunnydale. In part two, Angel is kidnapped by Spike for a ritual in which Drusilla is restored to health. Plot Part one Spike works on a cure for Drusilla. Plot Buffy attempts to repair a leaky pipe in her basement only to have it burst and flood the basement. The size of the cost leads to Buffy finding that, with hospital bills and funeral costs, the Summers girls are broke.
