Jonathan Hill (born 1958) is an English architect, architectural historian, and book author/editor. Hill joined University College London, part of the University of London, England, in 1989. He is Professor of Architecture and Visual Theory in the Bartlett School of Architecture at UCL. Jonathan Hopkin Hill, Baron Hill of Oareford, (born 24 July 1960) is a British Conservative politician and former European Commissioner for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union. Hill was Leader of the House of Lords and Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, he served as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Schools from 2010 to 2013 in the Conservative-Lib Dem Government. Hill, a former political lobbyist and PR consultant, was special adviser to Cabinet Minister Kenneth Clarke and an adviser to the Conservative Prime Minister John Major before being appointed a Government Minister in 2010. Prime Minister David Cameron put Hill's name forward, on 15 July 2014, to be the next British EU Commissioner, upon which Lord Hill resigned from the Cabinet. Jonathan Hill (born 11 December 1990) is a Filipino-Australian cricketer who is the current captain of the Philippines cricket team. Hill was born in Goulburn, New South Wales, Australia, and gained a Philippine passport in 2012, qualifying through his mother, who comes from Mindanao. He has played for the Philippines cricket team since 2017, and also works as a school teacher in Australia. In December 2018, Hill lead the Philippines team, as they won Group B of the 2018–19 ICC T20 World Cup East Asia-Pacific Qualifier tournament, with Hill saying "there is something special about this side". Jonathan Hill is a Welsh television presenter, journalist and producer, who currently presents ''Wales at Six'', the nightly news magazine programme on ITV Cymru Wales. He is also the editor of the station's English language output. Hill, who studied English at Swansea University before specialising in journalism, started his career freelancing for BBC Radio Wales, before joining HTV Wales as a general news reporter and bulletin presenter in 1993 for ''HTV Newsdesk'' and ''Wales at Six''. Jonny Hill (born 8 June 1994) is an English professional rugby union player who plays at lock for Premiership club Sale Sharks. Hill is the nephew of former Rugby league international Paul Loughlin. Career Club Hill first started playing rugby at local club Luctonians. He represented Gloucester on two occasions in the Anglo-Welsh Cup. On 21 June 2015 it was announced that he would leave Gloucester to join their rivals Exeter Chiefs. In the 2019 Premiership final he scored a try as Exeter were defeated by Saracens.
