Jonathan Harris (born Jonathan Daniel Charasuchin, November 6, 1914 – November 3, 2002) was an American character actor whose career included more than 500 television and film appearances, as well as voiceovers. Two of his best-known roles were as the timid accountant Bradford Webster in the television version of ''The Third Man'' and the fussy villain Dr. Zachary Smith of the 1960s science-fiction series ''Lost in Space''. Near the end of his career, he provided voices for the animated features ''A Bug's Life'' and ''Toy Story 2''. Early life The second of three children, Harris was born on November 6, 1914, in the Bronx, New York City, to Sam and Jennie Charasuchin, poor Russian-Jewish immigrants. His father worked in Manhattan's Garment District. Jonathan Harris (born August 4, 1996) is an American football defensive end for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Lindenwood. College career Harris was a member of the Lindenwood Lions, redshirting his true freshman season. He finished his collegiate career with 183 tackles (38.5 for loss), 22 sacks, four forced fumbles, an interception and a fumble recovery. Professional career Chicago Bears Harris signed with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent on May 3, 2019. Jonathan A. Harris (born 1964) is an American politician. Harris, a Democrat, is the former Commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection. He served as a state senator from Connecticut's Fifth District from 2005 to 2011. Early life Harris grew up in West Hartford and graduated from Hall High School and later from Brandeis University. He worked for U.S. Congressman Barbara Kennelly before earning a Juris Doctor degree from New York University School of Law. Jonny Harris (born 15 January 1991) is an England, English rugby union player, currently at championship side London Scottish R.F.C. He plays as a loose-head prop. Jonathan Richard Harris (born October 16, 1993) is an American professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent. He played college baseball at Missouri State University, and was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the first round of the 2015 Major League Baseball draft. Jon Harris is an American college basketball coach who is the former men's head coach at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE), an NCAA Division I program competing in the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC). A high school star at Edwardsville High School, Harris played collegiately at Marquette University. He was named the SIUE Cougars' new coach in April 2015 after spending thirteen years as an assistant in five different Division I programs. Jon Harris (born 1943) is an artist, illustrator, and calligrapher, who has a particular interest in architecture and topography. He lives in Cambridge, which he has made his base since he graduated from the University of Cambridge, with a degree in Art History, in 1965. Cambridge is also the principal subject of his drawings. Mischief Theatre is a British theatre company founded in 2008 by a group of students from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in West London, and directed by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, and Henry Shields. The group originally began by doing improvised comedy shows, but by 2012 they expanded into comedic theatrical performances that includes choreographed routines, jokes, and stunts.
