Jonathan Anderson Bell (3 November 1806 – 28 February 1865) was a Scottish architect, known also as a draughtsman for watercolour paintings. Biography Bell was born in Glasgow, the third child and second son of advocate James Bell and Janet Hamilton Bell. He was the brother of Henry Glassford Bell and Jane Cross Simpson, He was educated at Edinburgh University. He spent most of 1829 and 1830 in Rome, as an art student. He then served his articles as an architect, and remained for some years afterwards, in the office of Messrs. Rickman & Hutchison of Birmingham. Thomas Rickman was a major figure of the English Gothic revival, and became a close friend. For around 27 years, Bell practised as an architect in Edinburgh. Jonathan Charles Bell (born 7 February 1974) is an Irish rugby union coach and former player. He played centre for Ulster, with whom he won the 1998–99 Heineken Cup, Northampton and , and has coached at Ulster, Gloucester, Glasgow Warriors and Worcester Warriors. As of the 2022–23 season he is defence coach at Ulster. Education Bell went to school at Coleraine Academical Institution, playing rugby there. He later gained a PGCE teaching qualification. Playing career Bell first played for Ulster as an 18 year old. He played one season for Northampton Saints in England in 1997–98. Jonathan Bell Lovelace (1895–1979) was the founder of Capital Group Companies. Early life Jonathan Bell Lovelace was born in 1895. He grew up in Brewton, Alabama and attended Auburn University. Career Lovelace spent most of the 1920s at a Detroit banking/brokerage firm, developing his investment research techniques and earning impressive results. In 1924, he became a partner in E.E. MacCrone. By 1929, before the stock market crash, he could see no logical relationship between stock market prices and their underlying values, so he sold his interest in the firm, took his investments out of the market and moved to California.
