Jonathan Silva Vieira (born 3 March 1998), simply known as Jonathan, is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a left back for Ituano. Club career Born in Japeri, Rio de Janeiro, Jonathan joined Botafogo in August 2017, after already making his senior debut at Nova Iguaçu the previous year. Initially on loan, he was bought outright and renewed his contract until 2021 in December 2018. Promoted to the first team for the 2019 season, Jonathan made his senior debut on 26 January 2019, starting in a 2–1 Campeonato Carioca home loss against Flamengo. He scored his first goal on 3 February, netting the third in a 3–0 away defeat of Boavista. Japeri () is a municipality in the state of Rio de Janeiro, southeast region of Brazil. This city was founded on June 30, 1991. 2021 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B
The 2021 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B was a football competition held in Brazil, equivalent to the second division. The competition began on 28 May and ended on 28 November. Twenty teams competed in the tournament, twelve returning from the 2020 season, four promoted from the 2020 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C ( Brusque, Londrina, Remo and Vila Nova), and four relegated from the 2020 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A (Botafogo, Coritiba, Goiás and Vasco da Gama). Brusque were deducted three points after they were punished by Superior Tribunal de Justiça Desportiva (STJD) for racial abuse aimed toward Londrina's player Celsinho during the match Brusque v Londrina, played on 28 August (21st round). Brusque also were sanctioned with a fine of R$60,000. On 18 November 2021, STJD overturned its decision and the three points were returned to Brusque.
