Jonas Andersson (archer)
Jonas Lennart Andersson (born 16 May 1979, in Fosie) is a Swedish archer. He lives in Trelleborg and competes for Trelleborgs BK. Jonas started shooting archery in 1993 as a compound archer and switched to Olympic archery in 1997. Andersson competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics in men's individual archery. He won his first match against David Barnes of Australia 160-151, advancing to the round of 32. In the second round of elimination, he was defeated by Balzhinima Tsyrempilov of Russia. His final rank was 25th overall. Andersson was also a member of the 9th-place Swedish men's archery team at the 2004 Summer Olympics, along with Mattias Eriksson and Magnus Petersson. With this team he previously won World Championship silver (in 2003) and gold (in 2002) medal in field archery. Jonas got the 7 place at the World Games in Akita(Japan) in 2001. 2015 World Archery Championships
The 2015 World Archery Championships was the 48th edition of the event. It was held in Copenhagen, Denmark from 26 July to 2 August 2015 and was organised by World Archery Federation (formerly known as FITA). Qualification and elimination rounds took place at the Sundby Idrætspark, with the medal matches on 1–2 August outside the Danish Parliament building Christiansborg Palace. The competition was preceded by the World Archery Congress on 24–25 July. The programme featured was the same as previous World Championships, with individual, team, and mixed team events in the compound and recurve disciplines. A record number of athletes has entered: 623 archers across the four disciplines. As well as participation, the Championships also broke public engagement and awareness records. Magnus Petersson
Magnus Petersson (born 17 June 1975 in Gothenburg) is an archer from Sweden. He is an experienced Olympian, having won a silver medal in 1996. Petersson advanced to the semifinals in archery at the 2000 Summer Olympics, but was defeated there by Vic Wunderle. In the consolation bronze medal match, he again lost, this time to Wietse van Alten. The Swedish team, of which he was a member, placed 6th. Petersson competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics in men's individual archery. He won his first match, advancing to the round of 32. In the second round of elimination, he was defeated. His final rank was 23rd overall. Petersson was also a member of the 9th-place Swedish men's archery team.
