Eldoret
Eldoret is a principal town in the Rift Valley region of Kenya and serves as the capital of Uasin Gishu County. The town was referred to by white settlers as Farm 64, 64 and colloquially by locals as 'Sisibo'. 2022 USA Outdoor Track And Field Championships
The 2022 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships were held in Eugene, Oregon organized by USA Track and Field. It was serving as the national championships in track and field for the United States. The results of the event determined qualification for the 2022 World Athletics Championships, also held in Eugene. Provided they had achieved the World standard or are in the World Athletics ranking quota, the top three athletes in each event gained a place on the World team. In the event that a leading athlete did not hold the standard, or an athlete withdrew, the next highest finishing athlete with the standard was selected instead. USA Track and Field announced their World Championship roster based on these guidelines in July 2022. The men's 800 metres at the 2022 World Athletics Championships was held at the Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, Eugene from 20 to 23 July 2022. Summary After missing the Olympics, defending champion Donavan Brazier was eliminated in the heats. World leader Max Burgin did not start. The 2022 North American, Central American and Caribbean Championships were a regional track and field competition held at Grand Bahama Sports Complex in Freeport, Bahamas, from August 19–21, 2022. It was the fourth edition of a senior track and field championship for the NACAC region, held four years after the 2018 NACAC Championships.
