Jonah Gadjovich
Jonah Gadjovich (born October 12, 1998) is a Canadian ice hockey left winger for the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected 55th overall in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft by the Vancouver Canucks. He previously played for the Canucks and the San Jose Sharks. Growing up in Whitby, Ontario, Gadjovich began playing minor ice hockey with the Whitby Wildcats of the Eastern AAA Hockey League. He was soon drafted by the Owen Sound Attack in the second round of the 2014 Ontario Hockey League (OHL) Priority Selection. Victor Mete
Victor Joseph Mete (born June 7, 1998) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League (NHL). Mete was selected 100th overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Mete was drafted in the first round, eighth overall by the Owen Sound Attack in the 2014 OHL draft, but was traded before making an appearance with the club to the London Knights in exchange for six draft picks (three seconds, two thirds and a conditional sixth). Junior hockey is a level of competitive ice hockey generally for players between 16 and 21 years of age. Junior hockey leagues in the United States and Canada are considered amateur (with some exceptions) and operate within regions of each country. In Canada, the highest level is major junior, and is governed by the Canadian Hockey League, which itself has three constituent leagues: the Ontario Hockey League, Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, and the Western Hockey League. A two-way contract is a professional sports contract that stipulates that an athlete's salary is dependent upon the league in which the athlete is assigned to play. John Tortorella
John Francis Tortorella (born June 24, 1958) is an American professional ice hockey coach and former player. He currently serves as the head coach of the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League (NHL). Tortorella was previously the head coach of the National Hockey League's (NHL) Columbus Blue Jackets, New York Rangers, Tampa Bay Lightning, and the Vancouver Canucks; he led Tampa Bay to the 2004 Stanley Cup championship. He is the first American-born NHL coach to reach 500 wins and has twice won the Jack Adams Award as the NHL's top coach. The Columbus Blue Jackets (often simply referred to as the Jackets) are a professional ice hockey team based in Columbus, Ohio. The NHL Central Scouting Services (CSS) is a department within the National Hockey League that ranks prospects for the NHL Entry Draft at specific times during the hockey season. Players are ranked based on how well they will translate to the professional game in the National Hockey League. It was founded by hockey executive Jack Button in 1975 to establish a centralized database of NHL prospects. Button served as the director until 1979. Its current director is Dan Marr. Max Jones (born February 17, 1998) is an American professional ice hockey forward who is currently playing for the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League (NHL). Jones was drafted by the Ducks 24th overall in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. London Knights
The London Knights are a junior ice hockey team from London, Ontario, Canada, playing in the Ontario Hockey League, one of the leagues of the Canadian Hockey League. The Knights started out in 1965 as the London Nationals but changed to their current name in 1968. The Knights have won two Memorial Cup championships. Hat-trick
A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three. Origin The term first appeared in 1858 in cricket, to describe H. H. Stephenson taking three wickets with three consecutive deliveries.
