Jon Taylor (other)
Jon Peter Taylor (born 20 July 1992) is an English professional footballer who plays as a winger for club Salford City. Career Shrewsbury Town After being released as a youth trainee by Wigan Athletic, Taylor moved to Shrewsbury Town in 2008, having been recommended to the club by former Shrewsbury midfielder, Tony Kelly. Whilst still a youth player, he featured for Shrewsbury's first team sporadically in the 2009–10 season under manager Paul Simpson, making his début as a substitute in a League Two 1–0 away win against Chesterfield on 2 January 2010. Taylor signed his first professional contract at Shrewsbury prior to the 2010–11 season, and made his first home start against Burton Albion on 1 February 2011, scoring twice in a 3–0 home win under new manager Graham Turner. Ian William Sharps (born 23 October 1980) is an English former footballer who is currently First-Team Coach at Walsall Football Club. During his playing career he was a defender most commonly deployed at centre-back. Career Born in Warrington, Sharps is a tall central defender who signed for Tranmere Rovers after serving as a trainee and soon established himself as a first team regular making almost 200 appearances. Sharps joined Rotherham United on a two-year deal during the summer of 2006. Following the 2007–08 season, he signed a new two-year contract with Rotherham. The EFL League Two play-offs are a series of play-off matches contested by the association football teams finishing from fourth to seventh in EFL League Two, the fourth tier of the English football league system. They are part of the annual English Football League play-offs. , the play-offs comprise two semi-finals, where the team finishing fourth plays the team finishing seventh, and the team finishing fifth plays the team finishing sixth, each conducted as a two-legged tie.
