Jon Russ Jaggesar
Jon-Russ Luke Jaggesar (born 19 March 1986) is a Trinidadian cricketer who plays for the Trinidad and Tobago national team in West Indian domestic cricket. He is a right-arm off-spin bowler. Jaggesar made his List A debut for Trinidad and Tobago in January 2016, playing against Jamaica in the 2015–16 Regional Super50. He finished the tournament with 14 wickets from six matches (behind only Sulieman Benn overall), which included performances of 3/24 against Barbados and 4/32 against Jamaica. Jaggesar made his first-class debut the following month, playing against Guyana in the 2015–16 Regional Four Day Competition. In November 2019, he was named in Trinidad and Tobago's squad for the 2019–20 Regional Super50 tournament. Barbados National Cricket Team
The Barbados national cricket team is the national cricket team of Barbados, organised by the Barbados Cricket Association (BCA). Barbados is a member of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB), which is a member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in its own right, and Barbadians play internationally for the West Indies cricket team. 2020 Caribbean Premier League
The 2020 Caribbean Premier League (CPLT20) or for sponsorship reasons, Hero CPL 2020 was the eighth season of the Caribbean Premier League, the domestic Twenty20 cricket league played in the West Indies. All matches were played in Trinidad and Tobago. The tournament started on 18 August and ended on 10 September 2020. On 10 July 2020, the local government gave its approval for the tournament to go ahead, with all the matches taking place at two venues behind closed doors. The full schedule for the tournament was confirmed on 27 July 2020. On 6 August 2020, an official press release stated that all players, officials and administrators involved in the league had tested negative on arrival ahead of a two weeks quarantine period. The 2019–20 Regional Super50 was the 46th edition of the Regional Super50, the domestic limited-overs cricket competition for the countries of the Cricket West Indies (CWI). The tournament started on 6 November 2019, with the final taking place on 1 December 2019. The tournament featured the six regular teams of West Indian domestic cricket (Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, the Leeward Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Windward Islands), the Combined Campuses and Colleges team and the West Indies Emerging Team. The 2015–16 Regional Four Day Competition was the 50th edition of the Regional Four Day Competition, the domestic first-class cricket competition for the countries of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB). The competition ran from 6 November 2015 to 18 March 2016. Six teams contested the tournament – Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, the Leeward Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Windward Islands. Guyana were undefeated, winning eight of their ten matches and drawing the other two, and consequently won their eighth title (and second in a row). First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is one of three or more days' scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. Matches must allow for the teams to play two innings each, although in practice a team might play only one innings or none at all. Sulieman Benn
Sulieman Jamaal Benn (born 22 July 1981 in Saint James, Barbados) is a West Indian cricketer who plays international cricket for the West Indies and first-class cricket for Barbados. Benn debuted in 1999/00, as a left-arm orthodox spin bowler. He is also a fairly useful left-handed batsman with a first-class average of 17.48. Since his debut season, Benn has had to fight hard for a place in a Barbados team containing four West Indian international fast bowlers.
