Jon Krause
Jonathan Mark Krause (born 12 March 1981) is an Australian Liberal National Party politician who is the member of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland for Scenic Rim. He was first elected in 2012 as the member for Beaudesert, which was renamed in 2017. Early life Krause was born on 12 March 1981 in Ipswich and grew up on a dairy farm at Marburg. He attended school in Marburg and Ipswich. Krause graduated from Ipswich Grammar School in 1998. Queensland Parliament
The Parliament of Queensland is the legislature of Queensland, Australia. As provided under the Constitution of Queensland, the Parliament consists of the Monarch of Australia and the Legislative Assembly. It has been the only unicameral state legislature in the country since the upper chamber, the Legislative Council, was abolished in 1922. The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) is the national broadcaster of Australia. It is principally funded by direct grants from the Australian Government and is administered by a government-appointed board. Marburg is a rural town in the City of Ipswich and a locality split between the City of Ipswich and the Somerset Region, both in Queensland, Australia. In the , Marburg had a population of 873 people. Geography Marburg is located approximately 50 km west-south-west from Brisbane city. The land has an elevation of between approximately 80 and 120 metres above sea level. A small creek, the Black Snake creek, runs through Marburg. It is named after the Red-bellied Black Snake. History German settlers arrived around the 1860s in the region, which is part of the land of the Indigenous Jagera people. The Legislative Assembly of Queensland is the sole chamber of the unicameral Parliament of Queensland established under the Constitution of Queensland. Elections are held every four years and are done by full preferential voting. Tim Nicholls
Timothy James Nicholls (born 6 April 1965) is an Australian politician and a former leader of the Liberal National Party of Queensland. He served as the Treasurer of Queensland and the Minister for Trade of that state between March/April 2012 and 14 February 2015. He is the member for Clayfield in the Legislative Assembly of Queensland. He was originally a member of the Liberal Party including a stint as its deputy leader, but joined the Liberal National Party in 2008 when the Liberal Party and the National Parties merged in Queensland.
