Jon Robert Dale Kennedy (born 20 September 1994) is an Australian professional baseball pitcher for the of the Baseball Challenge League. Career Kennedy began his professional career with the Melbourne Aces of the Australian Baseball League and signed with the Atlanta Braves in 2015. He made his debut with Atlanta's organization in 2016 and split time between the Rome Braves, Danville Braves, and Carolina Mudcats where he posted a combined 2.92 ERA and 1.27 WHIP in 19 total relief appearances between the three teams. He spent 2017 with Rome where he was 5–2 with a 2.87 ERA in 39 games. On 1 June 2019 he signed with of the Baseball Challenge League. International career He was selected for the Australian national baseball team at the 2017 World Baseball Classic and 2019 WBSC Premier12. Florida Fire Frogs
The Florida Fire Frogs were a Minor League Baseball team of the Florida State League from 2017 to 2020. They were located in North Port, Florida, and served as the Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. Founded in 2017, the Fire Frogs played their home games at Osceola County Stadium in Kissimmee, Florida, part of the Greater Orlando metropolitan area, through 2019. In 2020, they were to have begun playing at CoolToday Park in North Port, but the season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They ceased operations after the Major League Baseball's reorganization of Minor League Baseball in 2021. History The Fire Frogs were the relocation of the Brevard County Manatees. Philip Dale
Phillip Dale (born 8 August 1962 in Melbourne), is an Australian former minor league baseball player and is currently a coach with the Australia national baseball team. Dale has had a long and illustrious baseball career and was the first Australian to receive a 4-year baseball scholarship to an American university (Georgia Southern University). He also was a pitcher for the Australian national team, spent four seasons in the minor leagues, reaching AA. Dale then became one of the best players in the Australian Baseball League, setting several records. After his playing career, he went into scouting and coaching, including being the pitching coach for a silver medal Athens 2004 Olympics Australian Olympic baseball team.
