Jon Halapio
Jonathan Halapio (born June 23, 1991) is an American football center who is a free agent. He was drafted by the New England Patriots in the sixth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He played college football at Florida. College career Halapio attended the University of Florida from 2009 to 2013. During his career, he started 43 of 51 games at guard and was a team captain his junior and senior seasons. Professional career New England Patriots Halapio was drafted by the New England Patriots in the sixth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He was released on August 30, 2014, as part of final roster cuts. Center (American Football)
Center or Centre (C) is a position in gridiron football. The center is the innermost lineman of the offensive line on a football team's offense. The center is also the player who passes (or "snaps") the ball between his legs to the quarterback at the start of each play. The importance of centers for a football team has increased, due to the re-emergence of 3–4 defenses. According to Baltimore Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome, "you need to have somebody who can neutralize that nose tackle. If you don't, everything can get screwed up.
