Jon Guthrie
Jonathan Neil Guthrie (born 29 July 1992) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Northampton Town. He began his career with Pewsey Vale and has also played for Crewe Alexandra, Leek Town, Walsall and Livingston. Club career Guthrie was born in Devizes, Wiltshire. He started his career with Pewsey Vale, progressing through the youth system before playing for the first-team in the Wessex League from the age of 16. Crewe Alexandra In September 2011, he joined League Two side Crewe Alexandra on a 10-week trial. In February 2012, he signed his first professional contract with Crewe, on an 18-month deal. In March 2012, he joined Northern Premier League side Leek Town on loan, where he made a total of 8 appearances. Devizes
Devizes is a market town and civil parish in Wiltshire, England. It developed around Devizes Castle, an 11th-century Norman architecture, Norman castle, and received a charter in 1141. The castle was besieged during the Anarchy, a 12th-century civil war between Stephen of England and Empress Matilda, and again during the English Civil War when the Cavaliers lifted the siege at the Battle of Roundway Down. Devizes remained under Royalist control until 1645, when Oliver Cromwell attacked and forced the Royalists to surrender. The castle was Slighting, destroyed in 1648 on the orders of Parliament, and today little remains of it. From the 16th century Devizes became known for its textiles, and by the early 18th century it held the largest corn market in the West Country, constructing the Corn Exchange in 1857. David Artell
David John Artell (born 22 November 1980) is a professional football manager and former player who most recently was manager of club Crewe Alexandra. He began his career as a centre back with Rotherham United, as the "Millers" won successive promotions from the Third Division to the First Division in 1999–2000 and 2000–01. He joined Shrewsbury Town on loan for the 2002–03 season, before successive two-year spells with Mansfield Town and Chester City, then joining Morecambe in July 2007. He joined Crewe Alexandra in June 2010, and captained the "Railwaymen" to victory in the 2012 League Two play-off final. The 2014–15 Football League One (referred to as the Sky Bet League One for sponsorship reasons) was the eleventh season of the Football League One under its current title and the twenty-second season under its current league division format. The season began on 9 August 2014. Bristol City won the league to return to the Championship after a two-year absence. They were unbeaten for the first 16 matches of the season and also finished with the best goal difference and best defence. MK Dons pipped Preston North End to 2nd place on the last day of the season after the Lancashire club lost at Colchester.
