Jomoro (Ghana Parliament Constituency)
Jomoro is one of the constituencies represented in the Parliament of Ghana. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. Jomoro is located in the Jomoro District of the Western Region of Ghana. Boundaries The seat is located within the Jomoro District of the Western Region of Ghana with similar boundaries. To its west is the Côte d'Ivoire. The southern boundary is the Atlantic Ocean. The eastern neighbour is the Nzema East District and to the north are the Aowin/Suaman and the Wasa Amenfi West Districts. Jomoro District
Jomoro Municipal District (a.k.a. Nzema West Municipal District) is one of the fourteen districts in Western Region, Ghana Ghana (; tw, Gaana, ee, Gana), officially the Republic of Ghana, is a country in West Africa. National Reform Party (Ghana)
The National Reform Party is a political party in Ghana. It was founded in 1999 by a splinter group from the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Elections The party contested the 2000 presidential and parliamentary elections on the 7 December 2000 but won no seats. An independent or non-partisan politician is a politician not affiliated with any political party or bureaucratic association. There are numerous reasons why someone may stand for office as an independent. 2004 Ghanaian Parliamentary Election

The People's National Convention is a political party in Ghana. After constitutional rule was restored back in Ghana in 1992 the party was formed by former President Hilla Limann based on ideals from the People's National Party (Ghana) which he led in the 1979 elections and won. 2008 Ghanaian Parliamentary Election
General elections were held in Ghana on 7 December 2008. Since no candidate received more than 50% of the votes, a run-off election was held on 28 December 2008 between the two candidates who received the most votes, Nana Akufo-Addo of the governing New Patriotic Party and John Atta Mills of the opposition National Democratic Congress. Mills was certified as the victor by a margin of less than one percent, winning the presidency on his third attempt. It is to date the closest election in Ghanaian history. Paul Essien
Paul Essien is a Ghanaian politician and member of the Seventh Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana representing the Jomoro Constituency in the Western Region on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party. Education He attended Nass Senior High School for his Ordinary level certificate and for his Advanced Level he moved to Nsein Senior High School. He also has a Bachelor Science degree in Statistics from the University of Cape Coast. Prior to that Essien, had obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) from Takoradi polytechnic now Takoradi Technical University. He did his mandatory national service at GRA (VAT) from 2007 to 2008. Career Essien is a teacher by profession. He taught as a mathematics teacher whilst serving as a form master and sports teacher at Annor Adjaye Senior High School from 2008 to 2016. Francis Kabenlah Anaman (born 26 July 1960) is a Ghanaian politician and member of the Sixth Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana. He represented the Jomoro Constituency in the Western Region on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress. Early life and education Anaman was born on 26 July 1960. He hails from Tikobo, a town in the Western Region of Ghana. He attended the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and obtained a bachelor's degree in Economics and Sociology. He earned his postgraduate diploma in Public Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration in 1999. Career Anaman was a military officer of the Ghana Armed Forces. Convention People's Party
The Convention People's Party (CPP) is a Socialism, socialist political party in Ghana based on the ideas of the first President of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah. The CPP was formed in June 1949 after Nkrumah broke away from the United Gold Coast Convention (UGCC). Nkrumah was the then appointed Secretaty General of the UGCC when he was arrested by the leader of the UGCC and imprisoned for an alleged thought, plans and power against Kwame Nkrumah's leadership. Kwame Nkrumah then formed the Convention People's Party with support of some UGCC members and had a purpose for self governance. Upon Kwame Nkrumah's leadership with the CPP, he orgranized a non violent protest and strike for support of the purpose for self-governance which took him to imprisonment for a second time, but he was released after winning a massive vote by the CPP following the colonies election general election whilst he was in prison.
