Jolien D'Hoore
Jolien D'hoore (born 14 March 1990) is a Belgian former track and road cyclist, who rode professionally between 2007 and 2021 for the , , , and teams. D'hoore is a 29-time national track champion as well as a four-time national road champion at all competition levels. She won the bronze medal in the omnium at the 2016 Olympics and during her career was one of the strongest sprinters in the women's peloton. Since retiring as a rider, D'hoore now works as a directeur sportif for UCI Women's Continental Team . Career Most notably, she won the Belgian national road race championship in 2012. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she was 5th in the Women's omnium. D'hoore signed with the team for the 2015 season, winning 13 races in her first year with the team to become the most prolific winner in the women's peloton in 2015. Challenge By La Vuelta
The Ceratizit Challenge by La Vuelta (La Madrid Challenge by La Vuelta before 2020) is an elite women's professional bicycle race held in Spain, and has been part of the UCI Women's WorldTour since 2016. Similar to La Course by Le Tour de France, the race has traditionally coincided with the final day of the Vuelta a España. The race was first held as a one-day road race in the centre of Madrid from 2015. From 2018 onwards, a time trial was held as a first stage, albeit within the Madrid region. In 2020, a third day of racing was added and the race was renamed as the Ceratizit Challenge by La Vuelta - after sponsor Ceratizit, and as stages were held outside the borders of the Autonomous Community of Madrid. European Track Championships
The European Track Cycling Championships are a set of elite level competition events held annually for the various disciplines and distances in track cycling, exclusively for European cyclists, and regulated by the European Cycling Union (UEC). They were first held in their current format in 2010, when elite level cyclists competed for the first time following an overhaul of European track cycling. The UEC agreed with the governing bodies of six other major European sports from 2018 to integrate its four Olympic-class events, including track cycling, into the new European Championships event on a quadrennial basis.
