Seppo Sakari Jokinen (born 13 April 1949) is a Finnish writer of crime fiction. His books' main character is the fictional police officer Sakari Koskinen from Hervanta, Tampere. Biography Early life Born in Nurmijärvi to the family of a sports journalist, Jokinen attended East Carolina University on a basketball scholarship and later graduated with a major in broadcast and film. Vesa "Vesku" Jokinen (born 1970) is the lead singer in Finnish punk rock band Klamydia, based in Vaasa on the Finnish west coast, and in Kylähullut.
