The Joker (comic Book)
''The Joker'' is a comic book series published by DC Comics starring the supervillain the Joker. It ran for nine issues from May–June 1975 to September–October 1976, with a tenth previously unpublished issue released in October 2019. In 2021, it was relaunched as part of DC's ''Infinite Frontier'' relaunch following '' Dark Nights: Death Metal'' conclusion. Publication history Dennis O'Neil, who wrote the first issue of the series, recounted that "I stopped by Julie chwartz, ''Batman'' editors office, and he said, 'We're going to do a Joker book'. I know that alarms went off, I could sense the problems that such a thing would entail...but it was a job". The series was launched in May 1975 by O'Neil and artist Irv Novick. Joker (playing Card)
The Joker is a playing card found in most modern French-suited card decks, as an addition to the standard four suits (Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts, and Spades). From the second half of the 20th century, they have also been found in Spanish- and Italian-suited decks, excluding stripped decks. The Joker originated in the United States during the Civil War, and was created as a trump card for the game of Euchre. It has since been adopted into many other card games, where it often acts as a wild card, but may have other functions such as the top trump, a skip card (forcing another player to miss a turn), the lowest-ranking card, the highest-value card or a card of a different value from the rest of the pack (see e.g. Zwickern which has 6 Jokers with this function). is the protagonist of ''Persona 5'', a 2016 role-playing video game by Atlus. He is a Secondary education in Japan, second-year high school student who gets expelled due to a false accusation of assault from a corrupt politician. As a result, he leaves his hometown and moves in with a family friend in Tokyo to serve a one-year probation. Following his transfer to a new school, he and a group of other students awaken to a supernatural power known as the Persona (series)#Personas, Persona. Jesper Dahl (born June 13, 1973), better known by the stage name Jokeren (''The Joker''), is a Danish hip-hop artist and rapper. Dahl was born in Hillerød. In addition to his own recordings, he has been a prolific producer and has worked on American hip-hop albums, including one of Ice Cube's, alongside Danish productions. Jonas Berggren
Jonas Petter Berggren (born 21 March 1967) is a Swedish musician and singer-songwriter and record producer, also known as Joker. He started writing songs when he was seven, and continues to write for the Swedish band Ace of Base, which he is a founding member of, as well as other bands. He was born in Gothenburg, Sweden. Biography Early life Jonas Petter Berggren was the first child of three siblings, his younger sisters are Linn and Jenny. Jonas was born with a cleft lip, undergoing three surgeries within his first year. He became interested in music when he was 10, after his father started teaching him to play the guitar. Liam McLean (born 30 January 1989), better known by his stage name Joker, is a British record producer who creates music in genres such as dubstep and grime and was known for creating the subgenre "purple sound". William Posada is an American independent professional wrestler best known under the ring name Joker. He worked for the Combat Zone Wrestling promotion, IWA Mid-South, Chikara and UWA Hardcore Wrestling. Career Dangerously Intense Wrestling (2000–2002) Joker started his wrestling career in Dangerously Intense Wrestling where he was formally trained by Jay Tee Wilcoxson who helped him develop his unique and intense wrestling style.
