Jōji Matsumoto
was a legal scholar, politician and cabinet minister in the pre-war Empire of Japan. He is also the author of the “Matsumoto Draft”, a proposal for revision of the Constitution of the Empire of Japan in the immediate post-war period. Matsumoto was born in Tokyo to an ex-samurai family. He graduated from Tokyo Imperial University, was accepted into the Ministry of Agriculture and Commerce as a bureaucrat, before returning to Tokyo Imperial University as an assistant professor in 1903. He travelled to Europe from 1906 to 1909 for further studies, and returned to Tokyo Imperial University in 1910 as a full professor. In 1919, Matsumoto accepted a post on the board of directors of the South Manchurian Railway Company, and eventually rose to the position of Vice-President. , known as Screaming Mad George (born October 7, 1956), is a Japanese special effects artist, film director, and former musician. He was born in Osaka, Japan, and emigrated to the United States, where he has become known for his surreal, gory special effects. He has collaborated with director and producer Brian Yuzna on many films. Biography Born Joji Tani in Osaka, Japan, he took the first name George in order to stand out. Upon emigrating to the United States, where he graduated from the School of Visual Arts, he changed his name to Screaming Mad George in order to distinguish himself among the other Georges in an Anglophone country. Joji Takeuchi (竹内 譲次、born January 29, 1985 in Suita, Osaka, Japan) is a Japanese professional basketball player. He plays for the Alvark Tokyo of the B.League. Joji Ohara
was a pioneering Japanese cinematographer. Career Born in Tokyo, Ohara joined Shochiku's Kamata Studio in 1924 and was promoted to cinematographer in 1927. He is most known for his work with Heinosuke Gosho, including ''The Dancing Girl of Izu'' (1933), and for the soft tone of his images. He helped establish the modern touch of Shochiku's cinematography at Kamata along with Bunjirō Mizutani and Mitsuo Miura. He later worked at Tokyo Hassei Eiga, Toho, Shintoho, and Daiei Film. Joji Obara
, born Kim Sung-jong () is a Korean-Japanese serial rapist who may have raped between 150 and 400 women. In October 2000, he was charged with drugging, raping and killing the British woman Lucie Blackman, the rape and manslaughter of the Australian woman Carita Ridgway, and the rape of eight other women. In 2007, Obara was jailed for life on multiple rape charges and manslaughter, but was acquitted of Blackman's rape and murder for lack of direct evidence.
