David Timothy Simmonds is a British politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ruislip, Northwood and Pinner since 2019. A member of the Conservative Party, he is a former councillor on Hillingdon London Borough Council, having served from 1998 to 2022. Early life and education Simmonds was born in 1976, the son of Rory and Veronica Simmonds. He attended Cardinal Newman Comprehensive School in Pontypridd, before going to Grey College, University of Durham, where he gained a BA (Hons). Jillian Wendy Mortimer (née Sowerby; born 20 March 1965) is a British Conservative Party politician serving as Member of Parliament (MP) for Hartlepool since 2021. Personal life Mortimer was born Jillian Wendy Sowerby on 20 March 1965 in Leeds. Her father was a builder and her mother was a greengrocer. She attended Parklands Girls High School and later read law at Teesside University as a mature student at the age of 50, studying alongside two of her three children. One of her grandmothers grew up in Hartlepool. Before entering the House of Commons, Mortimer was a farmer in Knayton, North Yorkshire, hand-rearing Dexter cows and selling the beef and lamb from the gate of the farm and also training to become a barrister. Bellavia Janet Ribeiro-Addy (born 1 March 1985) is a British Labour Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Streatham since the 2019 general election. Solidly on the left of the Party, she considers herself a "life-long socialist" and a feminist and was briefly Shadow Minister of State for Immigration in 2020. Doreen Delceita Lawrence, Baroness Lawrence of Clarendon, OBE (''née'' Graham; born 1952) is a British Jamaican campaigner and the mother of Stephen Lawrence, a black British teenager who was murdered in a racist attack in South East London in 1993.
