Jóhannes Ásbjörnsson (born 28 November 1979), nicknamed Jói, is an Icelandic TV and radio show host. TV career Ásbjörnsson was born in Reykjavik. In 1999, he started a radio morning show with his collaborator of nine years, which became the most popular morning show in Iceland. In 2001, he started the TV show ''70 minutes'', which was modelled on their former radio show and ran for five consecutive years. Jóhannes and Sigmar Vilhjálmsson, Simmi hired Sveppi and Auddi to the ''70 minutes'' show, who have been on the air in Iceland since then. Joi T. Arcand (born 1982) is a nehiyaw photo-based artist from Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan, who currently resides in Ottawa, Ontario. In addition to art, Arcand focuses on publishing, art books, zines, collage and accessibility to art. Early life and education Arcand was born in 1982 in Hafford, Saskatchewan. She grew up on Muskeg Lake Cree Nation in central Saskatchewan. She spent many summers working in the Muskeg Lake Archives which gave Arcand her love of old photographs and history. Arcand later attended the University of Saskatchewan where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with Great Distinction in 2005. Pt Joi Srivastava was a well-known North Indian violinist of the Senia Gharana. Early life and training Joi Srivastava was born in Allahabad on 1 January 1930. He learned Hindustani classical violin from Gagan Chandra Chatterjee, a violinist who is credited with introducing the gat-style of violin playing in North India. Joi is a British alternative dub/dance music DJ team of Bangladeshi origin, originally composed of brothers Farook and Haroon Shamsher. Haroon died on 8 July 1999, and the remaining brother has continued Joi alone. Background Joi were brothers Farook (born 24 October 1968) and Haroon Shamsher (14 November 1965 – 8 July 1999), born in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England and brought up in the East End of London to a Bangladeshi father and an Indian mother. Their passion for music developed at a young age as their father was Joi: Farook Shamser a professional flautist who had a shop in Brick Lane selling saris and musical instruments he imported from India.
