Johnny Sangster
Johnny Sangster is an American musician, record producer, and recording engineer. Professional career Johnny Sangster is a Seattle-based recording engineer, musician, and producer. As a musician he is known for The Sharing Patrol, Dear John Letters, The Tripwires, Mark Pickerel & His Praying Hands, as well as being a touring guitar player and keyboardist for Neko Case. Sangster’s producer and engineer credits include The Briefs, Mudhoney, The Posies, Supersuckers, and many others. He currently works primarily out of Crackle & Pop, a studio that he cofounded and operates along with Andrew Smith in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood. Tim Kerr (musician)
Tim Kerr (born 1956) is an American musician, visual artist and photographer. Kerr was born March 11, 1956 and raised in Texas, now living in Austin, Texas. His first art award was winning a fire prevention poster contest in elementary school. He moved to Austin after high school graduation where still resides with his wife Beth. He earned a degree in painting and photography at the University of Texas in Austin and studied the latter with Garry Winogrand. Tim was awarded a Ford Foundation Grant while at UT. He won a slot two years in a row for the new songwriters contest at the Kerrville Folk Festival during this time as well. Case/lang/veirs
case/lang/veirs is a Canadian-American supergroup consisting of Neko Case, k.d. lang, and Laura Veirs, formed in Portland, Oregon in 2013. The group launched with a June 2016 eponymous album, followed by a 19 city summer 2016 tour. History The trio of case/lang/veirs was formed in 2013, three years before the album release, when Lang, in a one-line e-mail, invited Case and Veirs to join her, and they responded affirmatively within 30 minutes. The three musicians had decades of experience making music and recorded over 30 studio albums. Lang, who previously collaborated with Dwight Yoakam, Madeleine Peyroux and Ann Wilson, has said that she was considering retirement before forming the band, and she always wanted to "be part of a band, a real collaborative effort". Kenneth Stuart Stringfellow (born October 30, 1968) is an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, arranger, and producer. Best known for his work with The Posies, R.E.M., and the re-formed Big Star, Stringfellow's discography includes more than 200 albums. Early life and education Stringfellow was born in Hollywood, California. His father, a television executive, relocated the family frequently as his career developed, and Stringfellow went to elementary schools in New York, Chicago, and Detroit. After his parents divorced, in 1978, he moved to Bellingham, Washington. In high school, Stringfellow, who had learned to play piano at nine and guitar at 11, met Jon Auer, with whom he would later form The Posies. Conrad Uno
Conrad Uno is an American record producer and founder of the independent record label PopLlama Records. Uno began his career making his own music as a teenager in his makeshift basement studio. At the request of his friends, the Young Fresh Fellows, Uno produced their debut album ''The Fabulous Sounds of the Pacific Northwest''. When the band decided to release their debut album themselves, Uno founded PopLlama Records to help with the release. He would also produce their next four albums; '' Topsy Turvey'' (1985), '' The Men Who Loved Music'' (1987), '' Totally Lost'' (1988) and '' This One's for the Ladies'' (1989), the latter three released through Frontier Records.
