Johnny Nansen
Johnny Nansen (born February 28, 1974) is a Samoan-born, former American football linebacker and the current defensive coordinator for the Arizona Wildcats. Early life Nansen was born on February 28, 1974, in Apia, Samoa and lived in Laulii, American Samoa early in his childhood. Nansen moved to the mainland United States at the age of 14. Playing career Nansen played football at Jordan High School in Long Beach, California and went on to play college football at Washington State University, where he was on the team from 1992 to 1996. After lettering on the football team for three years, Nansen earned his bachelor's degree in business administration in 1997. Arizona Wildcats Football
The Arizona Wildcats football program represents the University of Arizona (UA) in the sport of American college football. Arizona competes in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Pac-12 Conference#Divisions, South Division of the Pac-12 Conference (Pac-12). They play their home games at Arizona Stadium, which opened in 1929 on the university's campus in Tucson, Arizona, and has a capacity of 50,782. The team is coached by Jedd Fisch. Don Brown (American Football Coach)
Don Brown (born July 31, 1955) is an American college football coach and former player. He is the head football coach at the University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass), a position he held from 2004 to 2008 and resumed prior to the 2022 season. In between his two stints as UMass, Brown was the defensive coordinator at the University of Maryland, College Park, the University of Connecticut, Boston College, the University of Michigan, and the University of Arizona. He served as the head football coach at Plymouth State University from 1993 to 1995 and Northeastern University from 2000 to 2003. Jedd Ari Fisch (born May 5, 1976) is an American football coach who is currently the head coach at the University of Arizona. Fisch previously served as the quarterbacks coach for the New England Patriots and as an assistant offensive coordinator and senior offensive assistant for the Los Angeles Rams. In addition, Fisch served as the interim head football coach at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) for the final two games of the 2017 season. The Boston College Eagles football team represents Boston College in the sport of American football. 2020 UCLA Bruins Football Team
The 2020 UCLA Bruins football team represented the University of California, Los Angeles during the 2020 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The team was led by third-year head coach Chip Kelly and competed as members of the Pac-12 Conference in the South Division. On August 11, the Pac-12 Conference initially canceled all fall sports competitions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Broyles Award
The Broyles Award is an annual award given to honor the best assistant coach in college football. First awarded in 1996, it was named after former University of Arkansas men's athletic director Frank Broyles. The award is presented in Little Rock, Arkansas at the Downtown Rotary Club. To date 18 of the 23 winners have gone on to become head football coaches. Award Every year, roughly 1,300 assistant coaches representing all 130 FBS programs are eligible for nomination by their peers as well as Selection Committeecomposed of former head coaches. The nominees are narrowed down to just five finalists, all of whom are invited to Little Rock, Arkansas for the annual Broyles Award ceremony.
