Johnny Magee
Jonathan "Johnny" Magee is an Irish people, Irish Gaelic football Manager (Gaelic games), manager and former player and former manager of the Wicklow GAA, Wicklow footballers. He played club football for Kilmacud Crokes GAA, Kilmacud Crokes and inter-county football for Dublin GAA, Dublin. Football career Inter-county Magee played at half back for Dublin in the late 90s and early years of the 21st century. He made his senior football debut for Dublin against Sligo county football team, Sligo in the 1997 National Football League (Ireland), National Football League, although he had previously appeared for Dublin in the O'Byrne Cup against Wexford county football team, Wexford in 1996. 2007 O'Byrne Cup
The 2007 O'Byrne Cup was a Gaelic football competition played by the teams of Leinster GAA. The competition differs from the Leinster Senior Football Championship as it also features further education colleges. O'Byrne Cup First round The first round saw the withdrawal of Kilkenny who were then replaced by Dundalk IT. Dundalk IT later dropped out of the competition which means that Wexford go on to play in the quarter-final on January 4, 2007. The first match of the O'Byrne Cup was played between Carlow and Wicklow. It was a much anticipated game as it was the debut of the new Wicklow senior football manager Mick O'Dwyer. Wexford, Wicklow, DIT, Offaly, Laois, Louth, Westmeath and Dublin went on to play in the quarter-finals of the O'Byrne Cup. The All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship is an annual Gaelic football tournament which began in season 1970–71. It is the top-tier competition for the senior football clubs of Ireland and London. O'Connor Park
O'Connor Park ( ga, Páirc Uí Chonchúir) is a GAA stadium in Tullamore, County Offaly, Ireland. It is one of the principal grounds of the Offaly GAA Gaelic football and hurling teams. It is known for sponsorship reasons as Bord na Móna O’Connor Park. The ground was opened in 1934, to replace Ballyduff Park, and currently has a capacity of 18,000. The ground currently consists of a covered stand on one side of the pitch, with terracing on the other three. A stand was built in 1991, but replaced by the current structure in 2006.
