Johnny Leahy
John Leahy (27 December 1891 – 19 November 1949) was an Irish hurling, hurler who played as a midfielder for the Tipperary GAA, Tipperary senior team. After joining the team for a tournament game in 1909, Leahy made his proper debut during the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship 1914, 1914 championship and was a regular member of the starting fifteen until his retirement after the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship 1928, 1928 championship. During that time he won two All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, All-Ireland medals, five Munster Senior Hurling Championship, Munster Championship medals and one National Hurling League, National League medal. An All-Ireland runner-up on two occasions, Leahy captained the team to the All-Ireland title in 1916 and 1925. Boherlahan–Dualla GAA
Boherlahan–Dualla GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club associated with the villages of Boherlahan and Dualla in County Tipperary, Ireland. The parish of Boherlahan–Dualla is a large parish in Tipperary, and Boherlahan-Dualla GAA club competes in the Mid-Tipperary Division. The Boherlahan–Dualla parish borders seven parishes from three separate divisions, Holycross–Ballycahill GAA and Moycarkey–Borris GAA to the north who play in the Mid-Tipperary division, to the west it borders Knockavilla–Donaskeigh Kickhams GAA, Clonoulty–Rossmore GAA, Golden–Kilfeacle GAA and Cashel King Cormacs GAA, all of whom play in the West Tipperary division, and to the east, Killenaule GAA who play in the South Tipperary division. Clonoulty–Rossmore GAA
Clonoulty–Rossmore GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the parish of Clonoulty and Rossmore, eleven miles from Cashel, County Tipperary in Ireland. The club is a traditional hurling club which is affiliated to the West Tipperary Board of the GAA. History The club was known as Clonoulty in its formative years and were the second winners of the Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship, in 1888. Railway Cup
The GAA Interprovincial Championship ( ga, An Corn Idir-Chúigeach) or Railway Cup (''Corn an Iarnróid'') is the name of two annual Gaelic football and hurling competitions held between the provinces of Ireland. The Connacht, Leinster, Munster and Ulster GAA teams are composed of the best players from the counties in each province. The games are organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association. The Railway Cup was a revival of the Railway Shield which ran from 1905 to 1907 (football) and from 1905 to 1908 (hurling). The first Railway Cup competitions (the name is due to the donation of the trophy by Irish Rail) were held in 1927, with Munster winning the first football title and Leinster winning the first hurling title. Presently, Ulster hold the record for the most football Railway Cup wins with 30, while Munster has won the most hurling titles with 43. Bob Mockler
Robert Mockler (18 April 1886 – 9 May 1966) was an Irish hurler who played as a midfielder for the Tipperary and Dublin senior teams from 1909 until 1924. Mockler made his first appearance for the Tipperary team during the 1908 championship and was a regular member of the starting seventeen for the next few seasons. He subsequently enjoyed a decade long career with Dublin before retiring from the game after the 1924 championship. During that time he won three All-Ireland medals, five Leinster medals and one Munster medal. Mockler captained Dublin to the All-Ireland title in 1920. Mockler began his club career with Horse and Jockey before later winning six county championship medals with Faughs in Dublin. Dick Grace (Tullaroan)
Dick Grace (10 August 1890 – 1 December 1974) was an Irish sportsperson. He played hurling with his local club Tullaroan and was a member of the Kilkenny senior inter-county team from 1909 until 1926. Grace is one of only a handful of players to have won All-Ireland medals in each of three decades. Biography Dick Grace was born in Tullaroan, County Kilkenny in 1891. He was educated at the local national school and, in time, would go on to become one of his county’s greatest-ever hurlers. The Graces of Tullaroan were synonymous with both hurling and Gaelic football. Between them the three brothers – Dick, Jack and Pierce - won a total of 15 All-Ireland senior medals – eight in hurling and seven in football.
