John Clifford Johnson (September 29, 1914 – June 26, 1991) was a relief pitcher, middle-relief pitcher in Major League Baseball who played for the New York Yankees (1944) and Chicago White Sox (1945). Listed at , 182 lb., Johnson batted and threw left-handed. He was born in Belmore, Ohio. In a two-season career, Johnson posted a 3–2 record with 49 strikeouts and a 4.20 earned run average, ERA in 51 appearances, including one starting pitcher, start, seven save (sport), saves, 27 games finished, and 96 ⅓ innings pitched, innings. Johnson died in Iron Mountain, Michigan, at the age of 76. John Antonopoulos (born November 14, 1952 in Malden, Massachusetts, United States), known professionally as Johnny A, is an American musician, guitarist, and songwriter. Early life Johnny A. was born in Malden, Massachusetts, of Greek heritage. Growing up in the Boston area, he became interested in music, starting with drums at age six. Upon being exposed to The Beatles in 1964 at age 11, Johnny's parents bought him a $49 Lafayette Electronics guitar. He stated his last name, Antonopoulos (of Greek origin), was always getting mispronounced. Johnny Johnson, Jr. (born June 11, 1968) is an American former professional football player who was a running back in the National Football League (NFL) for the New York Jets and the Phoenix Cardinals between 1990 and 1994. High school and college He prepped at Santa Cruz High School. Johnson attended and graduated from San Jose State University. Regarded as a premier tactician, Johnson became skeptical that the level of resources given to the Vietnam War, much of which went into 'find, fix, and destroy the big main force units' operations, could deliver victory. Based on Jaroslav Hašek's 1921–1923 satiric novel ''The Good Soldier Švejk'', the musical focuses on a naive and idealistic young man who, despite his pacifist views, leaves his sweetheart Minny Belle Tompkins to fight in Europe in World War I. He first tries to stop the war after meeting a young German sniper of the same name, who believes that the soldiers must unite. However, the commanders of the allied forces intend to use the discontent with the war among the German soldiers as a perfect time to advance in the war.
