Johnie Everett
John 'Johnie' Everett (born 12 September 1964) is a Scottish former cricketer. Everett was born in September 1964 at Kuala Belait in Brunei, which at the time was administered as part of British Borneo. He was educated in Scotland at Trinity College, Glenalmond. A club cricketer for Grange Cricket Club, he played representative cricket for Scotland in 1992. He made a single first-class appearance against Ireland at Dundee, scoring 33 in the Scottish first innings before being dismissed by Charles McCrum, and in their second innings he scored 20 runs before he was dismissed by Conor Hoey. He also played in List A one-day matches, making three appearances in the Benson & Hedges Cup and one in the NatWest Trophy against Somerset at Taunton Taunton () is the county town of Somerset, England, with a 2011 population of 69,570. Kuala Belait
Kuala Belait (KB; Jawi: ) is the administrative town of Belait District, Brunei. The population of the town proper was 4,259 in 2016. Kuala Belait is officially a municipal area (), as well as a village under the mukim of the same name. The town is located west of the country's capital Bandar Seri Begawan, and west of Seria, the district's other town. It is also in the westernmost part of country, near the mouth of the Belait River. History In 1914, a road connecting Kuala Belait and Brunei Town was completed. Kuala Belait was a small fishing village at the turn of the 20th century. The natives were Belait Malays who were mainly fishermen. There was a disagreement between the two groups of settlers which caused one of those groups to the relocated up to the west bank of the mouth of the Belait River. Forthill
Forthill is a cricket ground in Broughty Ferry, Dundee, Scotland. It has been used for cricket since, at the latest, 1884, when Forfarshire played Aberdeenshire there. Scotland first used the ground in 1913 when they played Northamptonshire. The ground staged six first-class matches between 1924 and 1999. The first was in 1924 when Scotland played Ireland. The touring Indians played Scotland in a first-class match there in 1932. Almost twenty years elapsed before first-class cricket returned to Forthill, with Scotland playing Worcestershire in 1951. The ground later played host to the touring New Zealanders in 1978 and Ireland in 1992, before hosting its final first-class match when Scotland played the South Africa Academy. During the twentieth century the ground also hosted several other touring teams in non-first-class matches. Forthill is still the home ground of Forfarshire Cricket Club. County Ground, Taunton
The County Ground, known for sponsorship reasons as Cooper Associates County Ground, and nicknamed Ciderabad, is a cricket ground in Taunton, Somerset. It is the home of Somerset County Cricket Club, who have played there since 1882. The ground, which is located between Priory Bridge Road and St James Street, has a capacity of 8,500. The ground was originally built as part of a sports centre by Taunton Athletic Club in 1881, and became the home of the previously nomadic Somerset County Cricket Club soon after. Having leased the ground for ten years, the club bought the ground in 1896, under the guidance of club secretary Henry Murray-Anderdon. The ground ends are the River End to the north and the Somerset Pavilion End to the south.
